If you want something Christmassy to do in Birmingham this week, then we've got no hesitation in suggesting you go along to Centenary Square and take a ride on the City's Big Wheel or a spin round the Ice Rink.
The Birmingham Big Wheel will give you some fantastic views of the city and if you go along after about 4 pm you'll get a great view of the Christmas lights in and around the area too. The wheel offers a really smooth ride that feels very safe and secure. Even if you have a mild fear of heights, you should be fine.
Looking down from the Wheel you get and amazing view of the Ice Rink below. From the top of the Wheel the people look like little ants scurrying around the white sheet. Even if you've never skated before, go along to the Rink and have a go.
Of course it's all much more fun if you've got some great company, sop why not take one of our lovely Birmingham Escorts along for the ride? And perhaps afterwards you can return to your hotel room together and enjoy some personal attention!
The Birmingham Mail Big Wheel and Ice Rink are in Centenary Square, Birmingham B1 2EP – daily from 10am-10pm til January 5. Wheel tickets are £5 or £16 for four people at peak times (weekends / weekdays after 5pm); £4 per person or £12 for four people off peak (weekdays, 10am-5pm). Cash only. Ice skating tickets cost £9 for adults, £8 for children under 12, £7 for students and £6.50 for senior citizens for 45 minutes on the ice, bookable from www.iceskatebirmingham.co.uk or at the rink.
Go along and have some fun!
